The markings are fine and accurate, however, zero is not at the end of the wood and the wood is over twelve inches long. The metal edge is not straight. When the plastic display hanger is removed the adhesive remains on the wood. I like a good wooden ruler but in this case I would select the plastic or metal one.

It's so handy for it to have the tab on one end so it can hang from a hook, nail, or push pin.
